Jigsaw is open to adults of all ages, both from church and the community. We meet on the first Monday of the month at 2.00pm at Faraday Community Centre.

Each session we have a range of craft activities available from which people can choose or do as many as they wish, as well as games e.g. draughts and a casual group quiz to end the session. Refreshments are served with usually some homemade cake.

Crafts include:

  • Card making using a variety of resources and techniques.
  • Sewing/embroidery projects including lavender bags, Christmas tree ornaments and beaded embroidery pictures.
  • Model making e.g. wooden planes, plaster cast ornaments, paper crafts, clay modelling.
  • Knitting e.g. squares for blankets to send as part of Operation Tanzania and small soft toys
  • Painting, sketching, adult colouring, silk painting for cards or framing
  • Flower arranging

Deco-patch animals and boxesIdeas are limited only to the skills of those preparing the activities and those participating. We welcome ideas and we also welcome guests who are happy to come and share their skills.
